File 1 0:00:00 - 0:09:19 EVICTION LETTER - Morgie reads a letter about evictions in the locality around the time of the famine. He mentions the burning down of the workhouse in Crovraghan, Kildysart and the new cottages that were built. He says it was called St Patrick's Terrace.
0:09:20 - 0:11:38 HOLY WELLS/CURES - Morgie speaks about the holy wells in the area and the cures associated with them.
0:11:39 - 0:15:04 CILLINÍ - Morgie tells of how he assisted at the burial of a child in Clondrinagh about 65 years ago. He mentions those who were with him and says there were no women there. He says prams were not used then. Babies were placed in timber boxes beside the fire.
0:15:05 - 0:23:47 GRAVES/BURIALS - Morgie says that lots of graves were unmarked and this often led to confusion and he gives an example. He recalls his tour of Glasnevin Cemetery.
